A space to
draw regularly
Drawing Club Prague is a weekly live drawing session and an open art community for anyone who wants to draw regularly, meet other artists, and spend time focused on practice.
We believe that drawing works best when it’s shared — without pressure, without judgment, and without the need to be “good enough”.

Why it exists
Drawing Club Prague started from a very simple reason.
Drawing digitally every day, we missed drawing as a physical activity. Sitting in the same room with other people, working with real materials and drawing from a live model.
We wanted a place where we could draw regularly,
without being part of a course or a school.
A place where drawing comes first, but conversations
and meeting new people are just as natural.
Over time, Drawing Club Prague became more than just a drawing session. It became a community — a space to meet new people, build friendships, and share the same interest in drawing.
After years of running regular sessions,
our focus naturally shifted towards building that community further: creating a welcoming space,
and offering workshops for those who want to learn something new.
How it works
Drawing Club Prague is primarily a space for regular, self-directed drawing.
Most sessions are not led as formal classes and are focused on individual practice from a live model.
Everyone draws at their own pace and with their own tools. At the same time, conversations, shared tips, and feedback often happen naturally
— especially during breaks.
Alongside the regular sessions, we also host workshops and special events for those who want to explore specific topics in more depth.
We focus on creating a respectful, calm environment — for the model and for each other.
